Our clients had a passion for mid-century design and shortly after purchasing this 1960’s house we were asked to help them remodel the internal layout and update the exterior. Externally, all of the windows have been replaced, an old porch and a small rear extension have been removed. The front of the house has been modernised with new timber cladding, we altered the position and size of the windows to the front and designed a large extension to the rear which opens out onto a large elevated outdoor terrace. A large open plan kitchen and dining space opens out onto the terrace, both spaces benefit from the views across the surrounding countryside.
The client’s mid-century inspired interior design choices perfectly complement the style of the house as does the kitchen and built in joinery.
